Police want to speak to an HGV driver who may have been on a slip road at a roundabout in Edinburgh where a motorcyclist was seriously injured. The motorcyclist is 66 years old and is still in St John’s Hospital in Livingston after being transferred there from Edinburgh’s Royal Infirmary. He was the only person who was injured as a result of the incident.
It is thought that a Peugeot and the motorcycle crashed as they entered the slip-road to turn west on the northbound A1 at around 6.30pm.
Anyone who has any information is being urged to contact the police.
