Local Residents Shocked By The Accident

The aftermath of the accident which happened at a junction near Swanland, has left local villages shocked.

Local pet store owner, James May, said there had not been many accidents in the area and that when it does happen it leaves people in state of shock. He added: “It is such a shame what has happened, I was very shocked when I heard.”

A relative of Mr May had described to him what they saw on the road immediately following the incident. Mr May said: “The bike was on the side of the road and the person was on the road. Within a couple of minutes, there was an ambulance and police coming down the road. At one point, there were about five police cars there.”

History Of Speeding On The Road

Road closures meant that accident investigators could examine the scene but the cause of the accident has not yet been confirmed.
